The school has recently had several visits from a music specialist, which has inspired the Junior children to begin composing their own music. The children have the opportunity to learn the recorder, taught by Mrs Porter, and have recently taken part in the South Cumbria Music Festival. Some children also learn the violin under the instruction of Mr Nawaro.
