Introduction
|
Lowick Church of England Controlled Primary School is a small school in a rural location, five miles from Ulverston. The school is a focal point of an active and supportive community. At Lowick School we are keen to build upon the traditional values associated with a rural school, whilst successfully meeting the challenge of present and future educational developments.
We believe that all children have a valuable contribution to make to school life, and in school each child is encouraged to reach his or her full potential on a personal, social and academic level. We feel that this is achievable only in a happy, caring and secure environment.
We are able to work with children either individually or in small groups, and to carefully plan and structure activities to meet the needs of the child. Evidence of our success is shown by our pupils' achievements and high standard of personal behaviour.
All parents are very welcome to come along and spend time with us in school and I am always happy to meet you and discuss any questions you may have.
