National Children's Book Week is an annual celebration of reading
in the UK. It aims to remind as many children as possible of the idea
of reading for pleasure. It is held in the first full week of October
each year.
Each class at the school has a book as part of their approach to
literacy, to mark the week they set up displays relating to their
particular book.
