Our Football Team was in action in an important competition in Carlisle on Saturday 30th January 1999.

 40 teams in all from over Cumbria and the Dumfries region of Scotland, competed in a 5 a-side competition which lasted all day.

Ambleside Primary School was in a group of 5 schools, playing Burgh by Sands, Oughterside, Penport and Cargenbridge.
