National Award
for Website: Superb news for the school. Ambleweb won the
Learners Category of the BECTa primary school web site awards just
before the school broke up for the summer. Mark Robinson, our ICT
co-ordinator, and Janet Bagot, our Deputy Head, travelled to London
to receive the prestigious award which included an Apple Mac

Effective Early
Learning Project: During October 1999, we learned that we have
been accepted onto this important national project. Over the course
of the next 18 months, we'll be making a thorough evaluation of
everything that goes on in our Early Years (Nursery & Reception)
departments - with a view to raising the already high standards of
teaching and learning. More information as we get it.

governors, staff, parents and our School Council, we've developed our
