At Ambleside Church of England Primary School, we expect our children:
We recognise that good behaviour needs teaching and that rules for our younger children, whilst grounded in the expectations indicated, will be couched in different terms than those for our older children. To this end we have expressed the rules associated with the expectations in age-appropriate action.

Rewards For Individuals Following Our Rules
For children with special needs, a star chart; home to school record will be drawn up by the class teacher / SENCO to support behaviour.

It was also agreed that each class would negotiate what these rewards might be within parameters set by the class teacher. For example:
The rewards will operate within the Behaviour Policy, the rules, expectations and sanctions.
Sanctions in the Event that Expectations are not Kept by Individuals
Early Years

Key Stage 2
The lunchtime supervisors are involved in this policy and are encouraged to report good and poor behaviour. They use the same expectations, rewards and sanctions and, having recorded their findings in an unobtrusive way, report these to the class teacher at the start of afternoon school.
